►YOU WOULD LIKE TO ADOPT A BOXER?

Please check regularly our photo album “Dogs available for Adoption” which will be updated every day.
Oftentimes we are trying to find foster carers for dogs and once found many of these dogs never make it to our photo album “Dogs available for Adoption” because the foster carer fell in love with the dog and adopted the boxer. Please consider fostering before adoption.

If you are also interested in adopting a boxer cross, please join our sister group Boxer Rescue Network Australia Chat where we also list boxer crosses.

►YOU NEED HELP REHOMING YOUR BOXER?

Thanks for not using Gumtree and the likes or giving your dog to the pound!
Please send us a message or email us: boxerrescuenetwork@live.com

Attach photos of your dog and tell us a bit about the dog and please leave a contact phone number so that we can ring you.

►YOU WOULD LIKE TO FOSTER?

Boxers are being surrendered nearly every day and some of them even end up in pounds who only have an obligation to keep the dog for a certain amount of days before the dog becomes council property. Unfortunately many pounds still have a kill policy and we are trying out utmost to save those dogs from there.
Please help us help the dogs, if you believe you can foster a boxer then fill in our foster carer application form: https://boxerrescuenetwork.wordpress.com/foster-application

Please do not forget to return this form to us via email to boxerrescuenetwork@live.com

►YOU WOULD LIKE TO DONATE MONEY?

Our general adoption fee covers the vet costs for desexing, vaccinating and microchipping, but often we get dogs into our care with further health or behavioural issues and extra money is needed to look properly after them. Other dogs need transport from remote locations and we rely on donations to be able to help those dogs as well.

Please give as much as you believe our efforts are worth it and you can afford without jeopardising the wellbeing of your own dogs, every dollar counts. Some people opt for regular payments, others give now and then, we are grateful for every bit. It does help the dogs in need and that is all that counts.

  2. We have a boxer & he is 8 months old – we would be open to adopt a boxer as our other dog is very old and I can not see her living past this Christmas 2016. We live in Bundaberg & we were considering a puppy, however all our other dogs have been rescue dogs except our Handsome Doug the boxer dog. If a FEMALE rescue dog came up anywhere from Gold Coast to Rockhampton, I’m sure our boy would love a playmate his size to chase around.

    • Amanda, please go to our page “Downloads” and fill in our adopter details form, we will then send you an email every time a boxer in QLD or available for interstate adoption will become available.
Also, please check regularly which dogs we have available for adoption.

  6. Hello to all you wonderful people. My family and I are looking to adopt a rescue boxer. At the moment we have 2 birds a galah called Georgie she is 2, and then there is Frankie my cocktail, she is 4 months. We also have 2 lovely cats, my girl Ellie who is almost 1 and my old boy who is 16 his name is Jet. Last but surtenly not least is my baby Mollie, she is a almost 3year old boxer. Mollie like all my fur babies live in side with my partner, my son and me. Mollie is a very gentle sole, she doesn’t like any noises as this scares her. She loves cats, dogs, people and as much attention as she can get which is a lot as im at home and not working. Mollie is not an aggressive dog and will bow down to othere so we would need a rescue boxer that will not dominate her. Our hope is to have another boxer to spend his/her life with our girl Mollie inside with us, outside when they want to go out side. Walks on a daily basis. All of my babies are desexed and chiped. Thanks for your time to read my email. Leanne.

    • Hi Janice,

When a rescue explicitly says a dog is not good with other dogs then that dogs is not good with other dogs.

    • Hi Maddie,

Please go to the page “Available for Adoption” and check it out. In rescue we just do not know when and where the next dog in need may become available, sometimes it takes weeks, sometimes only 1 hour and we will then immediately update this page. Additionally to checking that page and also our Facebook page it is a good idea if you go to our page “Forms” and fill in our “Adopter Details Form”. Once we receive that we can send you an email every time we post a new available dog in your area.

    • Hi Monique,
Please check out our Page “Available for adoption” and if you do not see a suitable dog for you there, please fill in our “Adopter Details Form” which you can find under “Forms”, then we will send you an email every time we post a new available dog in your area.

    • Hi Jodie,
We can certainly help you there. Please go to “Forms” and fill in our ‘Adopter Details Form’, we will then send you an email every time a new boxer in your area becomes available. Also, please keep an eye on our photo album “Available for Adoption” and also join our Facebook page if you are in Facebook.
We are sure you will soon find the perfect addition to your family!
